The Copycat project is a photographic project that takes beautiful nude pictures of famous models and photographers and tries to reproduce them in a different way, with a different view. Is an exploration on women's sexuality and power but from their perspective, trying transfer into the image how women feel when they are aroused but not from what men expect to see but how women want to expressed it.
This process is shared by the model and the photographer. The model brings her own take on the selected picture, for example clothing, make up and hair style, in the other hand the photographer thinks about location, angles, posture and attitude, and they both together bring alive a new picture which is inspired on a previous one and in many ways tries to mimic it, but no to copy it.
The Copycat Project has a raunchy and raw look to its images, looking forward not to get too much into effects that "enhance" the natural look of the picture. The Copycat Project is always looking for new models, mostly natural models, non professional models who are willing to risk showing a lot of skin and attitude in order to achieve a beautiful, risqué and sexy image.
